The Lens extension reads the map, the tokens and the game log of a D&D Beyond Maps game on
dndbeyond.com/games pages, and the maps you add through its panel, only to show them in the Lens app on your
own computer. It sends them to 127.0.0.1 (your computer) and nowhere else.
Lens has no account, no analytics, no ads and no server of its own, and it collects nothing about you. The Lens app
keeps your maps in a folder on your computer and makes no network requests of its own beyond the connection to the
extension on 127.0.0.1.
The extension stores two small things in your browser: which tabs asked the app to open (until you close the browser), and whether a map picture carries a Lens scene (until you remove the extension).
Lens is an unofficial fan tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by D&D Beyond, Wizards of the Coast or Hasbro.
